We don't like contractions (even spoken ones) when the target of the contraction is stranded. This is why you can't say, "He's not as happy as I'm." It's why you can say "I'm'n'a go to the store" but not "If you can't go to the store, then i'm'n'a". If you don't see why one is stranded and the other isn't, think about their forms. One is "I want to visit X", the other is "I want X to win". Contracting "want to" in the latter strands the X.

Do you know why it sounds normal to say "Where do you wanna visit?" but sounds kinda awkward to say "Who do you wanna win?"
