We are deeply saddened by the passing of groundbreaking cartoonist Trina Robbins. She was a pioneer in the underground comix movement. She is known for her work in Wimmen’s Comix, Wonder Woman, and Vampirella. Robbins received an Inkpot Award in 1977, was inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame in 2013, and was immortalized in Joni Mitchell’s “Ladies of the Canyon.” Our condolences to her partner Steve, family, friends, and many fans. 📸: S.
