@HereThereBeCast Ooh, this is fun -- I initially wanted to give the players a home base, so I was thinking like Traverse Town from Kingdom Hearts and then popping between worlds. I'm also influenced by Castle In The Sky for aesthetics and other weird ones along the way like the Evil Within.

Lets talk about inspirations! Fellow #actualplay podcasts, what were the main inspirations for your campaigns? The premise for Outcasts was inspired by Merlin (BBC). A young spellcaster living in a kingdom where magic is banned on pain of death? Sounds familiar! #dnd #dndpodcast
