And when the Cats, Hawks, Pies attract big name free agents every year are they the “big spending cats” Are the “big spending lions 0-2 after 2 x high priced free agents in off season?

Port in a fascinating (nice way of saying "bad") spot with its list and upcoming crop of kids. There's an argument that forcing a trade for Butters and rebalancing the list is the way to go. But clubs that are in for him don't have good picks. No guarantee the kids will be good.
