Today, the Court issued a ruling dismissing the Leandro school funding case, ending any possibility of relief for the plaintiffs. I dissented.

While we are disappointed in today's ruling, it does not change the constitutional duty of the state of North Carolina to provide each child with a sound, basic education. The Forum will continue to call on our policymakers to fulfill that duty to all students.
