Here's What We Know: Thimerosal is a safe preservative in multi-dose vaccines. Thimerosal contains ethylmercury, which is different from methylmercury, the toxic form of mercury in fish. Most childhood vaccines are single-dose and don't require preservatives. @wcm_id @wcmpeds
