The warming shelters at Fairview High School and Franklin High School are now closed. All guests have either safely returned home or made alternate accommodations. If you need emergency shelter during the cold weather, call (629) 235-6480 day or night. Thank you to our @WCSedu partners, staff, @WCSO_Sheriff, @CityOfFranklin, @FranklinFire, @CityofFairview, volunteers, and community members who helped support our neighbors during this cold weather response.

URGENT: Due to below‑freezing temperatures, widespread power outages, and hazardous road conditions, WCS will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 28, and Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026. School Age Child Care is also closed. Twelve‑month employees should follow snow day protocol.
