So part of the reason racism is such a terrible sickness in this country is because politicians like this know they can rally a certain base with the fear of OH MY GOD A BLACK WOMAN MIGHT BE PRESIDENT IF YOU DON’T VOTE FOR ME. Then we want to act all surprised when the most hateful part of the base decides they need to act out on their feelings of hatred.

It's a weird world when the "sad" part of this scenario is that she couldn't kill her baby. Totally not sad that the family is so detached from each other that no one knows what is happening to each other. No one knew she was pregnant because no one in this family seems to know each other at all.

@eljon_williams The whole homeownership focus in Boston and the Mayor's priority for racial equity and wealth creation is for Black and Latino residents is counterintuitive to the rental and deed restriction policies which deny equity to 20+ year homeowners.

@eljon_williams Did you know Black/Latino homeowners who purchased from COB 20 years ago, aren't allowed 2 get the benefit of the massive equity in their homes and actually have to get permission directly from the Director of Housing to be away for more than a month. Can you imagine?
