When I was Muslim, my entire world was this feeling: I was doing everything right, but still not enough.  I was praying on time. Fasting. Obeying. Trying your hardest to please God. But still feeling far from Him? That’s the orphan spirit. And I didn’t realize I carried it until I left Islam. Because here’s the truth nobody ever told me: Islam doesn’t raise sons. It trains servants. You obey to survive. You perform to prove your worth. And you never actually know if it’s enough. So you live anxious. Always striving. Always exhausted. Always trying to earn security that never fully comes. I lived like that for 20 years. Then I met Christ. And I didn’t meet a distant judge. I met a Father. A God who didn’t tell me to climb my way to Him, but came down to rescue me Himself. That changes everything. Because now my relationship with God is not built on fear of failing over and over again. It’s built on adoption. And trust me, I still fail. I still mess up constantly. But a son runs to his Father differently than a servant runs to a master. That’s the difference. So if your relationship with God feels cold, distant, exhausting, and transactional, maybe the issue isn’t that you’re broken. Maybe you’ve just never known what it feels like to be fully loved by a Father. Jesus didn’t just save me. He adopted me.

There were massive international protests over George Floyd and those police involved were severely punished with long prison sentences, yet the police responsible here did not even lose their jobs! An incredibly unjust double-standard!

And a member of NHS management delivered her a friendly warning: 'whistleblowers go missing overnight' An NHS manager. Said that. Out loud. To a midwife who raised patient safety concerns. On 9 April 2024, Victoria handed back her Nursing and Midwifery Council @nmcnews registration and walked away from the career she had trained four years for and loved every day of. Because she says the institution she worked for was actively harming the women and babies in its care and punishing anyone who said so. She is still speaking publicly. She is still being harassed. The NMC @nmcnews, NHS England @NHSEngland, and the Royal College of Midwives @MidwivesRCM have had inquiry after inquiry, report after report, and the wards are still dangerously short staffed. This is unbelievable. A travesty of justice. One of the worst terrorist attacks in Europe was by Islamists at the Bataclan Theatre in Paris in November 2015. Two men stormed the 1,500 person theatre where a concert was in progress. They fired indiscriminately at people, then hunted them down as people cowered in offices and cupboards. They even executed those who lay on the floor pretending to be dead. 130 people died that day. Hundreds were injured. Mohammed Bakkali is a Moroccan-Belgian who was behind this attack (and the others that took place that night). He rented safe houses and provided cars for the Islamic State cell. He knew exactly what was happening and facilitated it. In the 2022 trial in Paris he was sentenced to 30 years for his role. And now comes the kicker. When he was extradited from Belgium to face trial, there was a condition that he serve any sentence in a Belgium prison. He has served 4 years and on 11 May the Belgium court granted him the right to leave six times for 36 hours each. In fact, it then came out that he has already had several day releases since 2025. They cite his good behaviour and rehabilitation. In Belgium, some prisoners only serve 1/3 of their sentence. Looks like for a Muslim who colluded in a heinous terrorist attack it is even less. The French are furious. And rightly so.

ISIS terrorists murdered Yazidi children in front of their mothers. They would rape and starve the mothers for days, then kill the children, cook their bodies, and serve the flesh with rice so the mothers would unknowingly eat their own babies. Most of the women committed suicide after finding out. Everyone in the Muslim world knew what was happening, but not a single Muslim or Palestinian activist protested for the Yazidis!

You really can't make this up. A teenager in Germany was downloading an update to his game but internet was super slow. Frustrated, he wrote an insult about the German Prime minister on X complaining about slow internet speeds. Police required him to delete the post and they dropped further investigation of him. Looks like free speech doesn't exist in Germany anymore.

Elon Musk just described how the entire government operates in a single sentence. Friedman watched workers digging ditches with shovels. He suggested they use excavators instead. Someone pushed back. “But then we’re going to lose a lot of jobs.” Musk: “Friedman says, well, in that case, why don’t you have them use teaspoons?” One sentence. And a person with a free afternoon starts thinking. Starts building. Starts wondering why they needed permission to dig in the first place. That’s the thing the system can’t survive. Not unemployment. Free time. Musk didn’t tell a joke on Rogan. He described the longest con in modern governance. Keep them digging. Keep them busy. Keep the teaspoon in their hand so they never look up long enough to see the ditch was pointless from the start. Friedman told that story sixty years ago. He meant it as a warning.
