A new children’s play area and gym equipment has been installed at Lime Tree Avenue. A new footpath has also been laid as one of our Pocket Parks nears completion. Benches will be installed soon. Works on the Pocket Park at Samuel Street are also under way.

The works were part of the wider Valley Brook Green Corridor #TownsFund project – a partnership led by @CheshireEast @EnvAgencyNW @CreweTCouncil – which will connect Queens Park with Mill Street / Edleston Road via a cycling & walking route primarily through parks & open spaces

Work to improve the first section of the watercourse at Valley Brook has now been completed! These before & after pictures show the difference it’s already made. Not only does it look more attractive, but it’s created a much better environment for our local wildlife

🎉This is fantastic news for the town - such a brilliant asset. It's just a few weeks until the multi-storey car park opens too, which is needed so that other car parks like Oak Street - where the Youth Zone facility is heading - can be freed up for development.
