We're thrilled to announce that The Weald Foundation has received a generous grant from the @HeritageFundUK. This will fuel our two-year Military Heritage project, which started in April 2023 and will conclude in March 2025.

Spot our authentic Heeresfeldwagen at first glance? It's a key part of our collection! Contrary to Blitzkrieg's mechanized image, the German army in WWII relied on 3M+ draft horses. With original colour and unit markings, reveals that 80% of Germany's transport was horse-drawn.

Reinstalling Jagdpanther 411's carburettors, our deep dive into the original docs has been enlightening. Aged fuel, carbon deposits, and time have caused issues. The path to resolution? Thorough cleaning and preventative measures. Insights are coming soon on #InsideTrack.

Our team has recently completed some maintenance work on our Sd.Kfz.10 'Zugmachine'. After several weeks of care and attention, it was finally ready for a test drive. The team excitedly took it out and we're pleased to report that it performed remarkably well.

In today's photo, you can observe our team diligently checking the fuel levels to confirm they are within acceptable tolerance levels on the Jagdpanther 411 carburettor. Each carburettor will be rebuilt and reinstalled in their respective positions. Stay tuned for more updates.
