There is an area kids can pet sting ray. Parents stand behind while kids lean over. This lady barged in, and stood right in front of me, behind my child. I ask her, “can you kindly move please, my child is there” pointing to my child. (I was behind her). She moved beside me here (pictured) But kept harassing. “Do you have something more to say to me!?” She demanded. I ignored her. I patted my daughter on the back and quietly said “let’s go hon”….. this woman (who I was still ignoring) got within inches of my face and said “yeah, you better be going”. I ignore her more. Turned to the nice people on my right, they looked scared of her chirping. Kids were scared. Her two kids were frozen in fear too. She was speaking in tongues at whatever she perceived was the slight. After a minute, of ignoring, I calmly mutter under my breath “lady, you’re scaring children”. My ancestors arrived in Canada 200 years ago before governments existed, built & fought for this nation; only for some perpetual-victim psychopath to tell me “I better leave an area” where we were simply safely enjoying ourselves first. Daily life in Downtown #Toronto!

“Our” immigration policy since Hart-Cellar, and particularly since the 1990 Immigration Act (thanks HW) has served to fill America with 100 million foreigners who are simultaneously both incompatible with anything remotely resembling the America of our forefathers and who refuse to leave
In other words, an invading army in the tens of millions, and which is supported by half of the (diluted) American people

As it turns out, if you leave the border open for decades, allow people to flood into the country and operate more or less like full citizens - they don’t want to leave later on. And many American citizens will side with them. American immigration policy has been a disaster.

Anyone who claims the lack of joy about the 250th is a function of a rough economy was not alive in 1976. The country rocked in its 200th celebration and the economy was a FREAKING MESS. There is this Gen Z misconception that the '70s and early '80s were some sort of economic golden age of readily available, well-paying jobs, low cost housing and an all around sense of prosperity. WRONG. Google "Stagflation." Google "gas lines." Google "mortgage interest rates in the 1980s." Our economy today is a golden age by comparison, without exaggeration. Yet somehow in 1976 we could gleefully celebrate our nation's birthday without Democrats turning it into a Howard Zinn-inspired anti-history hatefest.

Mayor Katie Wilson sent her Public Safety Advisor to talk to North Seattle residents, still weary from the 95th shooting in their neighborhood in 2 years.
When asked why the mayor won't surge Seattle PD, the response was they can't because officer deployments are; "A little to a large degree, dictated by collective bargaining agreements."
Not "we chased away all the cops."
Not "we stopped enforcing laws."
Not "the new city attorney won't enforce the new SOAP zone"
And certainly not "we will talk to SPOG and deploy every available SPD resource here to arrest the pimps and drug dealers causing the violence."
Nope, she simply passed the buck.
