A completely pointless bit of early 90s bureaucracy for UK school kids. I'm happy to say the only certificates or qualifications I've ever actually needed to prove in my adult life were covid vaccinations during those dark days.

I actually came across my one of these last week while decluttering and decided to put it in the storage unit pile. No idea why, I've never used it, never been asked for it, and the last thing it contained was my GCSE results. I didnt even bother collecting my A-Level certificates let alone putting them in there. Maybe one day I'll regret that, not having my permanent record, but I can't imagine why.

It feels wrong to be getting rid of this, but after nearly 30 years of following me around and serving practically no purpose, we will now part ways. But trust me, my personal statement was amazing.
