Flash flood warning for Jammu and Kashmir ⚠️ A significant monsoon–western disturbance interaction is increasingly likely to affect Jammu & Kashmir between 20–25 July, with the highest rainfall intensity currently expected during 20–23 July. Forecast confidence is gradually improving, and the event may become the first major widespread rainfall spell of the season across several districts. Jammu may receive heavy to extreme heavy rainfall and heavy to very heavy rainfall is also expected over Kashmir with higher activity over south Kashmir. Flash floods/ landslides and cloudburst are also possible over low lying areas of both regions. Please be alert during 20-25 July as heavy rainfall may trigger flash floods and landslides.

तो नहीं होगी उत्तर पश्चिम भारत के मैदानी भागों में भारी वर्षा...... जैसा की मॉडल पहले दिखा रहे थे कि 20 जुलाई के आसपास उत्तरी मध्य प्रदेश उत्तर प्रदेश के पश्चिमी हिस्से दिल्ली हरियाणा उत्तरी राजस्थान के कुछ जिलों में भारी वर्षा की संभावना है, लेकिन अब ऐसा नहीं लग रहा जिसकी आशंका मुझे पहले से थी। क्योंकि पश्चिमी जेट बहुत अधिक नीचे नहीं झुक रही है जिससे भारी बारिश की गतिविधियां जम्मू कश्मीर हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड तक की सीमित रहेगी‌ और मैदानों को हल्की से मध्यम वर्षा के साथ ही संतोष करना पड़ेगा...... आगामी सिस्टम जो बंगाल की खाड़ी में है वह उत्तर पश्चिम दिशा में बढ़ते हुए पूरी उत्तर प्रदेश तथा उसके सटे मध्य प्रदेश पर जाकर खत्म हो जाएगा उसके प्रभाव से एक अन्य सरकुलेशन पूर्वी राजस्थान के आसपास बनेगा जो कुछ और प्रभावी होकर दक्षिण पूर्वी राजस्थान के आसपास जाएगा और मानसून की अक्षीय रेखा को भी दक्षिण की तरफ ले जाएगा जिससे गुजरात , दक्षिण पूर्वी राजस्थान और उससे सटे कुछ मध्य प्रदेश के जिलों में अच्छी वर्षा होने की संभावना है। अब , अगर इस सिस्टम की बात करें तो अगले 72 घंटे के दौरान यह गंगीय बंगाल दक्षिणी बिहार झारखंड और अगले सप्ताह पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश के कई जिलों में माध्यम से भारी के साथ-साथ कुछ स्थानों पर अति भारी बारिश देगा.... वहीं उड़ीसा और पश्चिम बंगाल में 24 घंटे बाद बारिश में कमी आ जाएगी। | Delhi | Bihar | Rajasthan | Uttarpradesh | MP | West Bengal | Odisha | Gujrat | Haryana | Uttarakhand |
