like, for something so vital, so central to everything, an infodumpy flashback could still be very good (like the God Valley flashback), but experiencing it first hand?? maybe even influencing it? if anyone can deliver on that, it's Oda. and i think there's a real possibility.

i was discussing in my one piece server the possibility of the SHs (or just Luffy) time traveling to the Void Century. while i'm not a fan of time travel, and i think it'd be super convoluted, i also feel like the Void Century warrants this level of complexity.
