Outcome: Institutions can join DeFi without exposing sensitive data. Enables uncollateralized lending, confidential transactions, and MEV protection. DeFi could finally scale to trillions in capital, combining transparency with privacy. Challenges: FHE is still developing liquidation triggers, oracle design, and user experience need refinement.
