Sorry to hear that @AmeerHussain ! Hi! I used to be addicted in gambling. I stopped when I ended up losing all savings, our mini store business, and even ended up maxing out my loans and got huge debts just to lose it all in gambling. It took me few months to fully recover and actually stay away. Last month, I came back on X and found out about the giveaway grind / community. I usually join, but never won a single dollar yet ever since. I’m still pushing it with hopes. I’m working now in a call center making $180-240 monthly before tax. My mother has a breast cancer and my father is a stroke patient back last year and he needs to get his knee surgery done in order to be able to walk normal again. I’m not demanding an amount to anyone, but if you are reading this my brother @AmeerHussain, anything would really help at this point! To be honest, I can feel a guilt on doing this knowing the fact that you’ve lost a huge amount of money and here I am trying to get my hopes up to receive some help from you. To give you an idea on why I am unable to get my parents a proper medical care, it is because it will cost my years of salary. For my mom’s maintenance we spend like $400 monthly as for my dad’s surgery, we need like $6-8k for his surgery which is close to impossible to save up if you are from the Philippines working a minimum wage job. For someone who did not complete college like me due to financial issues, I am one of those who is unable to finish College and have diploma which is why I end up working for small salary jobs.
