If you want liquidity somewhere else, you bridge and every bridge is a trust assumption you didn't sign up for when you opened the position. River built around a different premise. The Omni-CDP lets you deposit BTC, ETH, BNB, or Liquid Staking Tokens on a source chain and mint satUSD natively on a destination chain. The collateral never moves. No wrapping. No bridge operator. The cross-chain mechanics run through LayerZero's OFT standard burn on one chain, mint on another, supply conserved, no canonical version. Zero interest on minting is the second design decision worth understanding. MakerDAO charges a stability fee. Liquity charges an origination fee. @RiverdotInc charges neither. That changes the math on CDP leverage: any yield you generate from deployed satUSD is pure spread, not spread minus borrowing cost. The satUSD+ staking layer runs on top. Stake satUSD, receive a yield-bearing receipt token, earn a share of protocol revenue from Smart Vault allocations and CDP activity.
