i started arm wrestling recently and i’m probably going to get destroyed in my first tournament. not even saying that for sympathy. i’ve been to a couple trainings and most people there have years of experience. i’m new, my tendons are still crying, and i’m entering beginner category just to see what happens. but i like that. being new at something reminds you how much room there is to grow. everyone beating you is annoying, but it also shows you where you could get to too many people only want to do things where they already look good. that’s comfort. and comfort is probably the biggest enemy for a man.
