RETURN TO SCHOOL UPDATE: With the tremendous progress made yesterday through campus cleanups & restoration of power in our community, we will bring all school-based & district staff back on Wednesday, Oct. 16, to plan & prepare to welcome students to school on Thursday, Oct. 17.

POST-MILTON UPDATE #3 : Despite recovery efforts, we need at least another day before we can safely reopen schools. Schools & district offices will remain closed on Tuesday, 10/15. We will continue to work closely with TECO on restoration efforts & provide an update tomorrow.

Our decision to reopen schools will depend on... - Power Restoration - School Facility Condition - Number of district and school staff w/o power or with significant damage in their homes - Road Conditions Additionally, three of our schools are still active storm shelters.

MILTON UPDATE #2: Due to #HurricaneMilton and the expected impacts on our community, all schools and district offices will be closed through Friday, Oct. 11. We will inform all families and district employees should we need to extend our closures due to the storm's effects.
