Baldoni wanted to make an r-rated movie, but his cut flopped in testing and Sony went with Blake's hugely successful cut.
Ryan not only makes the highest grossing r-rated movie EVER but parodies Baldoni in a way that he cannot confirm is about him, without exposing his entire story is a lie and destroying his own legal defense.

There was an agreement that whoever scored higher was what would be the end cut. They presented BL with the numbers and she said, doesn't matter it's my cut CH agrees.

The main diff WAS Justin’s cut was R rated/explicit. in a 2 hr film it’s far too easy to glamorize abusive dynamics. Very diff than a book which can convey more nuance. I agree w/ her there.
