@webguy @vanamerongen @UID_ Het zou een risico zijn als die dat niet zouden doen, vroeger was er geen patchguard en toen hookten ze zelfs het SSDT gedeelte, dat kan al een tijdje niet meer... het is dan niet anders. Als de security leveranciers dit niet doen dan wordt de wereld een stuk onveiliger.

CrowdStrike is de topnotch speler in de cyber security branch. Zij hebben de namen Fancy Bear en Cozy Bear bijvoorbeeld bedacht en wanneer er ergens een groot incident is wordt CrowdStrike erbij gehaald omdat dat de partij is met dé expertise. Echt de knapste koppen uit onze industrie werken daar. Dat maakt het uitermate vreemd dat uitgerekend bij hen dit gebeurt. Voordat je een update als deze uitrolt moet je door tientallen hoepeltjes springen en wordt er automatisch ingegrepen wanneer iets niet lijkt te kloppen. Echt heel benieuwd hoe dit heeft kunnen plaatsvinden...

@UID_ Ik zag wel ergens iemand die zorgen had over het feit dat CrowdStrike zich in allerlei andere dingen injecteerde een paar weken terug. Was dat deel van deze update of van de vorige? Als het dezelfde update is lijkt het me dat dat nu is geexploit? Weet men al iets?

@websecnl Well for the most part, at least in my country almost every user uses mobile data due to underdeveloped broadband connection. And every mobile data provider here uses a symmetric Nat type.
