As we drive down HWY 90 in South Dakota, heading for Badlands National Park, I can’t help but feel like life has come full circle. Three years ago, I set off on a solo campervan trip with my two pups, heading toward San Diego. It was the adventure of a lifetime—one that taught me so much about what inspires me and the kind of life I wanted to build. What I didn’t realize at the time was that the end of that journey would mark the beginning of another. The day I came home to Mill Street, I walked in and met Nigel, my future husband. This year has been nothing short of magical. Surrounded by the love of our friends and family, I married the most amazing man. Our day was perfect, thank you to my dream making parents. And now, here we are—on another campervan trip, heading for San Diego but this time, together. Life has a way of sending you the most beautiful gifts when you’re aligned and ready to receive them. I am so grateful for all that 2024 brought and for the people who filled it with love and joy. Here’s to 2025—may it bring even more adventures, curiosity, and love!

What was your favorite day on the course in 2024? Not favorite course necessarily, but favorite day. Mine? Brambles Member Guest. I had been playing bad going in, but somehow put it together for 27 holes and we won our flight and second overall. Didn’t hurt that my good friend got 5 birdies in the best ball! We shot 38 in the Alt Shot which was huge! The course was so firm and fast, the people were awesome. The weather was perfect. The course is one of my favorites places in the country. Just couldn’t be much better…unless we had one more birdie perhaps….😂

My primary takeaway is that the character development (let alone plot) in the sequal is so bad....... That I feel like I know more about Maximus's dog in the original Gladiator film than I do of the main characters in the sequal.
