To be fair, I genuinely believe this community is filled with some of the best people you can find. That said, I also accept a simple reality—there will always be one or two individuals who, through their behavior, reflect poorly on both the community and the very oshi they claim to support. Unfortunately, you are clearly one of them. What you fail to understand is that local fans are doing everything they can—within their means—to put their country on Cover’s radar, even if only in small ways. For many of us, especially here in Thailand, opportunities are limited, yet we remain grateful for what we have. Other regions are still waiting—Vietnam has only just begun to gain recognition, and Europe is still struggling to receive proper attention. Singapore has had its opportunity, and rightly so. There will likely be more—but only when organizers and Cover’s business partners reach mutual agreements. This has never been about favoritism or exclusion. If you took a broader view, you would realize that even Indonesia—the home of the ID branch—only recently held its first major home live stage. Ironically, in all my travels for both work and Hololive-related events, Singaporeans have consistently been among the most respectful and grounded individuals I’ve met. I’ve made genuine friendships there, and I hold that community in high regard. Which is precisely why your comments stand out—for all the wrong reasons. Your negativity doesn’t come across as insight or criticism; it comes across as immaturity. It reads like someone desperate for attention, without the awareness to understand how poorly it reflects on themselves. You also seem to fundamentally misunderstand how this industry works. Talents do not simply choose where to appear on a whim—these decisions are made through coordination and agreement with management. To single out individuals like Ollie only highlights how little you actually understand. She is, in reality, one of the most genuine and considerate people in the scene—something your comments fail to recognize entirely. At the end of the day, if this is driven by personal frustration or selfishness, then perhaps that is something you should reflect on yourself—because it shows far more about you than it does about anyone else. I honestly doubt the broader community you claim to represent would stand behind this kind of behavior. You say you’ve worked hard—but honestly, it doesn’t feel that way.
