@DjsAviation I thought there were laws against the torture the 3-3-3 cabin promotes. Have done 12-14 hrs in those conditions (and a fine 🖕🏻you to DTS for the experience) - never again.

@miami_rick I wonder if Alitalia Cargo MD11s had proper coffee makers and Espresso in their galleys back in the day? Coffee pots are a bit too weak for us Europeans!

A little something I like to do. As you all know by now, we #freight #pilots look after ourselves in the galley since we don’t fly with dedicated cabin crew to look after us so yes, we heat up our own meals and brew our own coffee but here’s something I personally like doing when flying. Whenever I brew coffee for my crew I’ll write down the time the coffee was brewed and clip it to the coffeemaker’s locking handle so that whoever feels like getting a cup knows whether the coffee is new or old. Regardless, I like to brew a new pot every few hours so that my crew always has fresh #coffee available to them. It’s the little things.. #aviation #airlinepilot #pilots #B747 #QueenOfTheSkies

@miami_rick @Perseus_102 Heard @OldPlot tell us the A350-1000 was around 5 tons …or tonnes? I know its apples vs pears. Flew FRA-MIA on the 747-8 in February, was seriously impressed by the Queen.

@Perseus_102 About 10 tons an hour of the -400, about 8 tons on average for the -8 with a heavier overall load. The -8 is a magnificent machine when it comes to fuel performance and economy.

@RevRichardColes Richard, I traded up from @Bose NC to the smaller mk2 buds for my long motorcycle commute. The wind noise is intolerable. Mk1s are on last legs… First world problems I guess.
