The Israeli settlement of Shomera has less than 500 inhabitants, it appears on Apple maps. The Lebanese town of Ayta al-Shab, 5 kilometers away, has 5000 inhabitants, it does not appear on Apple maps.

I literally had to go see this for myself. Sure enough. Apple Maps has removed almost every town in Lebanon from the map while keeping every podunk town in Israel and Syria clearly marked.
