@AhmadibnRachid I rarely hear people use the word outside of the internet, “I’m an autodidactic learner” sounds like a grand statement vs “ahh I actually taught myself watching YouTube videos” which sounds chill

@MischaWilmers Modern AI models (like this year modern) are actually really amazing at it, for english we have GPT-3 and it’s near human level but pretty much all other languages their models are way worse, dunno what Chinese has

@DiglotSocial But how do you define 'word'? Computers are notoriously bad at figuring out when to consider a combination of characters a word and when not to. Not so simple.

@purer_ethics I feel it’s also a bit to do with the feeling of helplessness, like you want to do something but can’t do anything, so at least I’ll try to be a little less ignorant
