Revised the eye shapes sketch from yesterday. I forgot to include the Chinese names for phoenix eyes. Also, fixed the peach blossom eye to make the flower petal shape more prominent in the painted version :3

@swarkness Streaming is so convenient nobody wants to put forth the effort to pirate. That's why it works as a business model. TV is not important enough to most people to bother doing *anything* extra.

@swarkness For me I used to pirate a lot. Now I just don't care anymore. There's so much content trying to watch it all feels like a job now, and I don't really enjoy much of it. So I kinda just stopped watching a lot and play more games or watch YouTube instead lol.

@swarkness I used to pirate torrents of each and every show I wanted, and then some, both British and American from eztv dot org. It was brilliant. Now I don't even know how to pirate. How is it done these days? I fully support pirating by people without the means to pay.

@swarkness #1 pirating supporter don’t get me wrong but you can’t pirate stuff on the big tv. if im gonna pirate something i gotta be real fuckin dedicated to seeing that piece of media in particular

@swarkness It's been a whole generation at this point. The same kids who have never heard of media piracy also don't know we used to have universal instant messaging clients.

@swarkness If I have to go through multiple streaming sites clicking dead links trying to find a quality stream - I’ve already lost interest.

@swarkness I think its because everyone uses phones now, its much easier to (learn to) pirate stuff on a computer Phone users dont even use folders like wtf Digital literacy drove the people out of shady ways, we need to go back

@swarkness How about, if you recommend a movie/tv show to someone, either provide a good link or don't be surprised if they don't watch it.

@swarkness Nobody wants to fight with 8 diff sites to watch 10+ eps. 1 ep will work but then the next wont&we'll have to find someplace else. Theres a reason people started paying for streaming. These sites keep getting taken down/domains change. Making it harder to find what we want.

@swarkness I think there’s something in it with the ascendancy of smart tvs. When it was an equal pain in the ass to plug an HDMI into your laptop for Netflix and Pirating, you might as well pirate.

@moa810 As someone who’s gotten several friends to play the game over the years so I could watch their reaction for the first time, I really feel like the marketing of HBF does a splendid job of hiding the game’s secrets. These days it’s difficult to find such games without spoilers.

@moa810 hatoful boyfriend changed my DNA and also my perspective on visual novels when I read it. every single VN I have ever read since then I've been comparing to HB and they never come anywhere close to HB 🙏 the twist in your work cannot be matched

@knightofbunnies Writers that rely on a singular joke and pretend they're in on the genre are masking their terrible writing skills. A good writer can make you fall in love with a featureless rock, the shape and form doesn't matter it's the heart of the writing that drives home.

@knightofbunnies What makes games like Hatoful Boyfriend and Doki Doki Literature Club so popular is because there are more than just dating sims. They create interesting stories outside of just wish fullfillment.
