@tummy_kisser I feel like they are trying lean to far into the “realism” of world generation. Which I would say world generation after the caves and cliffs update did loose that Minecraft magic sadly to say. I just wish there was a “classic” world generation option in vanilla.

@themichaeltbh I mean old versions are not the answer most of the time. For example, I want the new features of the game (blocks, mobs, etc.) but I hate modern terrain generation. And who knows how long mods will be supported so I don’t like to rely on those. Some complaints are very valid imo.

Elytra wasn’t this op when it was first added, in fact it was just a glider then, a lot like vintage story glider, but later additions caused an absolutely obscene amount of power creep

@Burnvolver I don’t really fully disagree. There were games that launched buggy and some even incomplete. I would say the problem is much worse than it used to be though, but they get away with it more because they label their games “live service”.

@oasisdfg I use medal and steam for clips because sometimes my clips are larger than 20 seconds, or I forget to clip. I put down a bookmark and go grab the clips after the session. Too bad medal has stopped putting bookmarks for some reason?

@oasisdfg I use Medal and it’s fine. I can’t tell the difference between it running and not running. Plus Medal has the kinda fun community aspect where you can share clips. Use whatever software you want to use. But you should test to see if the tradeoff is worth it to you.
