@kinnjiimanishi Yes that's what I realised. I commented on China's road in a tweet comparing roads in North Asian countries, JP SK TW etc. I started to get personal insults and how lousy Australia (where I live) is.

@MemesToSave If you're not smart enough to either grow or live off 1 mill for the rest of your life you'd take the 50% and if thats the case i hope you win big cause you'll be out 1 mill.

@JakeMcNama48804 @CXeHcglCYQT76F2 @HongikUniGG Dick size is basically like height. Sure averages exist, but huge overlap real life, not uncommon to see some Asian taller than white despite lower avg height. We don’t exactly walk around for public comparison, so some people hide behind averages for comfort.

@yankinasia @StevenCheung47 Don't be silly. We chinese value our traditions but are flexible and accommodating. We don't enforce traditions like some religious beliefs.

Steven, you are so full of shit your eyes must be brown. We know he doesn't drink because if he did, it would kill him with the meds and drugs he's taking. I lived and worked in China for 23 years. NO ONE, gets out of a Chinese sponsored dinner without taking a toast of Baijiu, white wine or red wine. NO ONE. Its a major sign of respect and denying the host - ain't good for the relationship. There's no insinuation. He properly took a sip. That's all thats required of the custom.

@CorvidDevoid This shows how insecure the regime is. They are always trying the blur the line between ethnicity 华人 and nationality 中国人. At the same time, blurring the political entity and the chinese culture. By that extension, as an enthnic chinese, you are to be loyal to the regime.

So White Americans and White Australians are British and Black Americans are Africans, correct? Ethnically, South East Asian Chinese are also Chinese. But we have our own culture and we don't see ourselves as part of China. Just like how the whites in America don't see themselves as part of European culture I'm looking forward to block any wumaos in the replies.

A former police officer has lost his appeal after he was convicted of assaulting two teenagers during their arrests on the NSW South Coast. A judge found his use of force was “excessive”, and it was all captured on police bodycam.

@D162Michele Lots of ppl saying "oh at least Lucy's more beautiful than you." But don't forget most of you are westerners with western standards, that's the point which Michelle's pointing out. As an ethnic Chinese, Lucy's generally pleasant and unique, but not "beautiful".

Is it just me, or are Chinese and Western beauty standards completely different? To many Chinese people, Lucy Liu would not be considered hot or beautiful.🤷‍♀️

@stellachenyl @AndiHua25555496 傳統美德 is not "taught" in school, it lived in family, daily habits & society. Look at Japan's ganbaru spirit, it runs in their society cultural, not sch taught. Ironically Mainland lost much tradition Chinese values, replaced by communism. Behavior today proves it.

@stellachenyl Many overseas Chinese (SE Asia TW HK) preserved traditional values loyalty, mutual respect, ethics, festivals far better than the mainland. Communism/Cultural Revolution's "Destroy the Four Olds" smashed customs, temples & traditions.Diaspora kept more pre-1949 heritage.

@lowercaseboot True, more like $6–7 in Taipei vs $18–22 in Sydney for a comparable 便當 meal, still a gap, but your exaggeration noted. The killer difference? sparky/plumber in AU $200–400+ AUD easy for a job. Taiwan? 50 say job. You want cheaper meal, how about accepting lower pay?

You train 5 days a week. 180g protein. 7 hours sleep. Creatine. Pre-workout. Everything "right" And you still look exactly the same as you did 2 years ago Meanwhile some dude at your gym trains 3x a week, eats whatever the fuck he wants, and grows like he's on gear. You've decided he has better genetics His digestion works. That's what's different Muscle growth is anabolic. Anabolism needs energy surplus, low inflammation, functional nutrient absorption, and hormonal signaling that says "safe to build" When digestion is impaired, that 180g protein doesn't become amino acids. It ferments. Undigested protein feeds gram-negative bacteria in the gut, which produce endotoxin (LPS), which enters the bloodstream and triggers systemic inflammation Inflammation suppresses mTOR. That's the master switch for muscle protein synthesis You eat protein to build muscle. The protein creates inflammation. Inflammation blocks the building signal. You eat MORE protein thinking volume is the issue. It gets worse You're feeding the fire that's preventing your gains and nobody in the fitness space talks about this because "fix your gut" doesn't sell protein powder The guy growing effortlessly? Same chicken breast. His gut turns it into muscle tissue. Yours turns it into bacterial fuel and inflammation. Same food, opposite outcome I still get DMs from guys asking whether they should switch protein sources for "better amino profile." Bro you could eat the most perfect protein source ever synthesized and it won't matter if your intestines are fermenting it instead of absorbing it Had someone drop from 200g protein to 120g while we fixed his gut over 8 weeks. Put on more size in those 8 weeks than the previous 6 months of force-feeding. Ate less. Grew more. Because he was finally absorbing what he ate instead of turning it into endotoxin Your gains are behind your digestion. Not your meal plan. Not your training split Fix the gut first. The rest sorts itself out faster than you'd expect

Hey people, it’s not Lunar New Year. It’s Chinese New Year. Here is the science of it - Lunar calendar follows only the phases of the moon. A year of 12 lunar months is about 11 days short of the solar year. This means a holiday based on a pure lunar calendar (like the Islamic Hijri) shifts drastically through the seasons, occurring about 11 days earlier each Gregorian year. Chinese astronomers from thousands years ago tracked the moon phases for the months but adds a "leap month" roughly every three years to realign with the sun. This ensures that the new year always falls between Jan 21 - Feb 20 & remains tied to the seasons. Chinese New Year is specifically defined by the solar term Li Chun 立春 (the beginning of Spring). If it were a "lunar" new year, it would eventually drift into summer. The Chinese Zodiac animal is actually determined by the solar term called Yu Shui 雨水 (Rain Water) or the position of the sun, not purely by the lunar month. This is why the Chinese system is deeply lunisolar, not merely lunar. The calendar and its new year is uniquely Chinese. So by being ‘political correct’ and call it Lunar New Year, you either show your ignorance, or you are aiding cultural erase. Chinese New Year 🧧

Everyone simping over this but real Chinese martial arts nerds will know that this clip shows the complete reworking and destruction of our cultural heritage as she twirls the sword over her head. Previously, no form/taolu would ever have you wave a sword over your head with the Taoist belief that the spirit connected to heaven via the top of the head, and swinging the blade over it would symbolically sever the connection of Man and Heaven. Mao deliberately got rid of this belief by making sure all modern wushu sword forms had twirls and spins over the head, and forcing the populace to give up this belief and religious connection to the past. However, it's also a martial risk considering that swinging a sharp sword can end badly if you block a strike overhead, and the blade bounces on the top of your skull. This is why there are distinct differences between modern wushu sword/weapon forms and lineages preserved in rural China kung fu families, HK lineages, Taiwanese/Malaysian ones. The HuWhite man sees the glory of China in this clip and a world of women with no body odor and feistiness, the real Chinese man sees the destruction and rewriting of his entire civilisation and culture in a single moment, like tears in the wind, turned to dust by the hidden hands of fate. Our women turned to sport for foreign ogling, our weapons turned into jangling pieces of scrap metal, movements our ancestors practiced to fight off invaders rewritten and forgotten forever.

@BullionBrief Sweeping take. 'far too expensive to live in' & 'infinitely more soul' is just ur subjective narrow outlook. Trade-offs exist. safety, efficiency.... there are different individuals, stages in life, different priorities. Not everyone wants cheap chaos over order. Be realistic
