Great to be with Francisco Gonzalez and the LES Small Business Alliance last week. Small businesses are essential to our neighborhoods and I will show up to support them. We need to make sure they have the resources to grow and continue strengthening our community.

My parents arrived in New York in the early 1970s. I was born here and learned English alongside my mother. I grew up in the diversity of downtown. My parents became NYC public school teachers, won the lottery for an affordable apartment, and never left. Neither did I.

Hi, I’m Wei-Li Tjong and I’m running for State Assembly in District 65. Lower Manhattan raised me. Everything I’ve done as a lawyer, small business owner, and community leader has been about showing up and fighting for our neighbors. It’s time to take that work to Albany!
