Apparently, if you can see a fish, you're left-brained, and if you can see two people holding hands, you're right-brained. What do you see 🤔

There are no words good enough to express the horror of this. The killing of Charlie Kirk is a blow to everything Western civilization stands for: open discourse, robust debate and peaceful dissent. He lived his life by those very principles, no matter the danger it put him in. This may have happened far from our shores, but the rising intolerance of opposing views affects us all. We cannot turn a blind eye to it. My thoughts are with Charlie’s family, his wife Erika, and their children.

Again. @RyderCupEurope team will go with what captain Luke thinks is the best team. 0’0 players that play European Tour schedule so what’s the point? Marco Penge deserved a pick and Wallace deserved a pick but only 12 men play. Good luck in NJ…

“I think teachers can make that request." The Education Secretary tells @NatashaC that teachers should be able to ask pupils to refer to them as ‘mx’ instead of sir or miss.

I get why Bible publishers like to divide up the text into chunks and insert descriptive sub-headings But for many readers it has the effect of getting us to read piecemeal rather than contextually I wish the publishers would also add outlines that show structure & connections

@weirdo67 I would say that's maybe going a bit too far back. But there again I am still slightly bitter about the Norman Conquest, so who am I to talk?

@ewenmurray77 @AndrewColtart great coverage as always. One thing though. Not liking the editorial decision to place Scheffler and Rory at the top of their score on leaderboard, rather than their place on the course. Thoughts?

@MichaelLCrick Agreed, Michael. But it also calls into question the judgement of his editor to publish. Maybe the readers will use their intelligence in future.

What an unpleasant little article this is by Martin Samuel in the Sunday Times, calling Lib Dem MPs & others "pillocks" & "idiots" for backing amendment to make various football matches available on free-to-air channels. It's not just social media which lowers the tone of debate.
