Don’t get me wrong, I would be excited if it would be a thing!...but is it? …That simply is not clear! Existing research would suggest toning down the excitement.

Students or educators–before getting too excited using or recommending Sans Forgetica–it is not clear whether it really works, how sizable an advantage is relative to its annoyance and “headache” potential, whether the benefits wear off and what a beneficial “dosage” would be.

Beware of the @Sans Forgetica.rmit media coverage: no mentioning of failures to aid memory by other harder-to-read fonts (tinyurl.com/questionable-b…, tinyurl.com/questionable-b…). Sure, it’s specially designed, but there is no published and replicated evidence yet.

Exciting: We have sent a manuscript inquiry for a non-technical primer on how to conduct code review in psychological science to the editor (@profsimons) of AMPPS (@PsychScience) – now we are eagerly waiting for a response.

So far over 35 researchers with diverse backgrounds joined our team for writing a non-technical primer on how to formally conduct code (and data) review – yeah!

@hcp4715 @hansijzerman now worries🙂 The call for contributors for the code review team concerns just (2) ...objective (1) is a visionary one and may be spawned by (2) and its discussion - hopefully journals and various research teams have designated code/data reviewers for helping error reduction soon

@weissgerber_c @hansijzerman Thanks for explaining! sorry for my further stupid Qs: So there two things: (1) join the code/data review team to help review the code/data in the near future; and (2) join the code/data review author team to write a non-technique primer for psychology audience.
