@drruwende A combination of two factors probably caused the accident : reckless driving by the bus driver; and poor defensive driving skills by the driver of the slow moving vehicle. Instead of moving far left for the bus to pass, the driver might have remained close to the center line.

I'm not sure of that what transpired here but, i can see the head on happened on continuous line involving a bus, on our widest and newest highway. These bus drivers are careless, they overspeed at will, mubvunzo woti what exactly does it take to stop these busses from overspeeding, i believe once speed limiters are effected on every bus, these accidents will be reduced significantly. Zimbabwe has highest number of deaths(5 a day) linked to road traffic accidents in SADC, we need to act not, overtaking on white line should attract a better punishment. We need discipline on the roads. The only language these drivers will understand is revoking their licenses once they break a rule like overtaking on white continuous line. Our minds need to realigned to respect road rules and human life.
