Always a good time when senior officers quote Tolkien during their speeches. Working full time and studying was challenging, but I was able to work through my mid-life crisis and finish an MA in War Studies.

Took a little drive with the family to Kingston today to see the sights.

While this is by far the hardest day, I know I’ll smile again remembering the happiness and joy u brought. Every dog is the best dog but you truly were. I’ll miss you and remember you forever sweet girl.

To love a dog is the best of times and the worst of times. The last 18 years were the best of times and today is the worst. Hannah,  you were simply the best we could ask for and I hope we gave you as much joy as you gave us.

Despite the rain and mud it's D-Day for Operation Summer Camp. 7 platoons worth of HQSS tents are being assembled in St-Jean this week. Big thanks to our friends from 5e Régiment du genie de combat in Valcartier for their expertise.

@pbontoast1 Haha. My first “exercise” out of training was a “deployment” to Bermuda to compete in the annual Maple Leaf Run; I remember the run was 10km (if you ran direct; it took me about 12-13). Called my mom to tell her I was actually getting paid (TD) to go there lol. Good ole days.

Generally I’d agree and heaven knows that eggs and bacon are superior to almost any other breakfast, but I’m afraid those are not scrambled eggs, but a poorly made, cut up omelette.

Lots of Alberta separatists are anti-Gripen. Weird, considering they want to leave.

@HaroldWood59295 @DavidGrebstad Harold. The comment is not stupid nor is it a stupid thing to say in the Gunner community ( Canadian Artillery), in fact it’s quite the opposite of what you suggest. And I’ll add the gentleman whose comment you refer to, knows the difference and does not make “stupid comments”.
