This week at St George’s our lovely Elsie celebrated her 92nd birthday with social distant visit from her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom spoilt as she deserved.... Happy Birthday Elsie 🎂🥳 St George’s Care Home provides premium care In Beccles, Suffolk.

We feel very lucky to have received a very special donation. The thoughtful Gloria with her wonderful husband Alan, kindly held a fund-raising event, to raise money for residents at Wellbeing Care. This will be used to purchase a pergola for our garden.

Gardens & outdoor spaces are an important extension of care homes. At The Cottage Nursing Home, Janet was able to enjoy a visit from her family for the first time since “ Lock down “. The joy this brought them all was fantastic. #cottagenursinghome #irchester

As part of our wishing bucket list, one of our oldest resident Maurice, at the grand age of 103, wished to grow his own vegetables. So, in true Wellbeing style, we did just that. We must just say, they taste delicious – thank you Maurice! wellbeingcare.co.uk

The creations from our 5 Star rated kitchen of St George's, is delicate vanilla cheese cake with a sprig of home grown mint, along with hand crafted Eaton mess. These individual deserts, adds a person centred reflection on our fine dining experience. Exceptional team work !

At St George’s Care Home, Beccles we having been talking to their residents about bucket lists. As person centered care is the highest priority for all residents, we like to make sure they are being listened too. Here’s our lovely Betty who wished to see Henry her cat.

As part of The Dell Care Home’s on-going support to our amazing NHS staff at @JamesPagetNHS over the last few days we have supplied the Pharmacy, Department of Medicine, Ward 7, and the CT/MRI Dept with fresh home cooked food!

Another fun activity at The Cottage Nursing Home was enjoyed by Bernie, Maria, Margaret, and Doreen. They were all having a great time socialising whilst having a happy game of ‘Keep the ball on the Parachute’. Laughter could be heard from the other side of the home!

Being in touch with community is very important to the residents at St. George's Care Home, give them a sense of importance. Mrs Hall one of our employees mother worked hard knitting garments for the NICU and post natal ward at the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation

In the hot weather that we all currently enjoying, it is important to keep well hydrated. At The Dell we are always look at ways to encourage our residents to promote nutritious food 🥘 & fruits 🍉 🍇 .

@NorwichCityFC surprised us this morning at St George's Care Home, Beccles with a beautiful cake for the staff and a shirt signed by the football captain to say thank you for all the work. Such a lovely and thoughtful amazing gesture 😊 Thank you all! from @wellbeingcare1

The Cottage Nursing Home, Irchester received a fabulous gift from Marks and Spencer. We would like to say thank you, it has been truly heart-warming to see all the lovely gifts which have been sent to our home for staff and our residents in these challenging times.

Jeanette really enjoys looking after her doll daily. The Cottage Nursing Home provides our residents with a range of cuddly toys and dolls if a resident shows interest with this type of therapy. You can see Jeanette finds this experience rewarding and fulfilling.

Yesterday, at The Dell, saw a day of typical English Spring weather – breezy, sunny and showers! With that in mind, it was an ideal opportunity to wrap up warmly and venture outside with some of our residents to do some gardening. Gardening is a way to get active & fit !

At Wellbeing Care we value our local community. Our residents families entrust their loved ones in our care & they become part of Wellbeing Care family too! We compiled photographs & messages into a memory book with finger print hearts created by Lissy to give to handsome Ralph
