Some ADC leaders have their sons and daughters contesting for different elective positions under the APC, yet nobody is questioning their loyalty or motives. But once Peter Obi makes the slightest move, the attacks and outrage begin immediately..... especially from some Atiku supporters. The double standards are obvious. Peter Obi was right to walk away from ADC. It’s becoming clearer that for many of them, the struggle was never truly about Nigerians or national interest, but about protecting personal and political interests.

When a lady loves you, she'd be jealous to see you date her friend. It's funny and some of them will doubt that but it's mostly true. There is this my neighbor's friend who came visiting one time with her beautiful friend, so I decided to talk to her but for some reason I didn't get her number that day. That was the last time I saw her. So I decided to send a message through my neighbor's friend but she didn't ever deliver the message. She claimed her friend said she isn't interested in me but that's very surprising because we haven't had any discussion that would make her say that. I stopped and never told her I wanted to see her friend again. Two weeks ago, when I was going to the park to get a bus to my destination, I saw this girl walking past me close to the park, I called her and surprising she recalled who I'm after a few guesses. "I have wanted to see you but you never visited my compound with your friend again." "I have nobody to visit there na, I only came around that day because my friend wanted me to come with her to get something." "Yea, I understand you, but I have sent messages through your friend to you so maybe that would've been a good reason for you to visit..." Surprisingly, this her friend never delivered any such message to her. In fact, she never wanted her to know when she's visiting my neighbor again. I was surprised because it means she's lied to me. But then it's not something to bother myself with. Came back two days ago and she's happy to visit. Now tell me why my neighbor's friend is frowning her face because of her presence? She's surprised but that's itself surprising to me. It's not that I will ever date or befriend her. Yes, she's beautiful but I have a good relationship with my neighbor such that I can't date a girl he's dating or has dated, I can't do that. As a lady, why do some of you try to deny your friends good men who's interested in them, even when you yourself are already in a relationship? I think you should rather be happy for them, but it's sometimes the opposite. Why so?

Seems like no other region criticized Goodluck Jonathan more than the south west during his tenure. Even their religious leaders carried placards and their celebrities tweeted nonstop against him. None of those they supported against him has done any better.

They were both on the neck of the former president, GEJ, with many tweets calling him out for incompetence. Wishing him de@th and even claimed "You'd be a FOOL to vote GEJ" for a second term in 2015. Buhari came and he was worse than GEJ, then Tinubu and he himself has become worst. Why then aren't they calling this administration out? Has the lives of the people and the economy become better? Has fuel price reduced? How do you explain such obvious selective rage? And don't forget, the same guy who wished GEJ death in Jan. 2012 in his tweet has got someone sentenced to 2 years in prison, cos of his tweet.

You literally started your 2012 with cursing and wishing GEJ death. Why have you been so silent about the hardship in the country now, or have things become better? One would expect you to be more vocal since things are worse today.

This was @AdekunleGold in 2012 openly criticizing then President @GoodluckJonathan. Back then, it was rightly called free speech, and if he had been arrested for those tweets, we would have been on the streets demanding his immediate release. How then does someone who benefited from freedom of expression turn around years later to use the police, courts, and the brutal cybercrime framework against ordinary Nigerians over online banter and social media exchanges? You cannot enjoy free speech when you are powerless and criminalize it the moment you become influential. Freedom of expression must apply to everyone, celebrities, politicians, activists, and poor young Nigerians on social media alike. The Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG must stop acting as a private army for the rich and famous, while the judiciary must stop handing down outrageous punishments over internet speech that should never be criminal matters in the first place.
