@ANTiMateus @_alessandrosola No, the Grigoras is the Barani which they class as the free round off, the F version you have to do the half turn into a back somersault, doing the Barani / Grigoras technique only gets you the E value

@Pamchenkova I did a whole reel on this on my IG, a code that’s so focused on rebounding that these aren’t rewarded correctly or at all, the wolf to front tuck should get at least 0.1 and the split jump to front tuck should get .2, and anything C plus should get .3

The way real rebounding mixed connections don’t earn CV but a random non-rebounding series of elements does. WAG desperately needs new leadership.

It's wild that a split jump 1/1 is a C and a split jump 1/1 with ring position is ... also a C. There is not one single ounce of logic in WAG element valuation. None whatsoever.

Why are they *constantly* changing the TR of these elements. It used to be permitted to do the ring before or after the turn, then it was only permitted to do the ring before the turn, and now both techniques are permitted again. 😭

We are looooong past the point where the Maloney and VL should’ve been devalued to C and D, respectively. We very, very rarely see a Khorkina II anymore, bc why would you ever when the VL has the same DV and is both easier and infinitely easier to connect for CV.

Sorry, the VL staying an E while the Tweddle has been devalued to D is madness. We need a new WTC so badly. The sport and gymnasts deserve better.

Thinking about the fact that Thorsdottir's dance passage on FX during 2019 PT was discussed during the WAG Judges' Briefing and it was determined it shouldn't be credited, so she changed it for the competition. It was nicer in PT ... 🥲

A shame about the mental block Schäfer has had with bwd tumbling the last few years to the point that she fulfils the bwd salto CR on FX with a flic-lay, bc she actually had a lovely double lay earlier in her career.

@youwannacranson You need to rewatch the AA floor again and look at the incompletion of the tour jete half, she she had got that all the way around she didn’t need the double spin. The double was never meant for her AA routine, but the completion of the tour jete half was and caused the SV issue

Thinking about Simona Amanar getting a 9.887 on floor in 1996 team optionals because the judges didn't catch that she needed a double turn for a 10 SV, so the error wasn't fixed for the AA where she got a 9.737 (9.9 SV), but that error actually lead to Romania getting 3 medals
