@AGreen95 @tatiana_referee @SnookerRef @brendanmoore147 It’s generally not a ‘miss’ if snookers are required. If a player was 35 behind with 35 left, you can win without a snooker, so correct call 👍

@welshref @tatiana_referee @SnookerRef @brendanmoore147 Was the ref correct in calling a miss and replacing the cue ball in this situation in the 18th frame today? After a few misses Yize was 35 behind with 35 remaining, yet a miss was called here and the cue ball put back? TIA!

Briliant referee. In the nicest way, totally unnoticed. (Unlike some, don't get me started) Incredible/Unforgiveable that @Rolmeister147 didn't include you in his list.

Left the crucible on Wednesday night. Put in a long 15 day shift in Sheffield, but glad to go home to my family. Watched every shot from 8 pm tonight. They’ll forgive me, won’t they? 🤷😩

Chaos at the Crucible 🔴😮 A 100 minute frame, the longest-ever at the Crucible ⏱️ It followed this bizarre stalemate, where no ball was potted for 55 minutes!

No lies, I’ve never liked @NewportCounty playing at Rodney Parade, coz I’m old school, and a rugby fan for 40 odd years. Genuinely delighted they stayed up though and did it without needing other results. Go on the County! 👍🎉

@snookerbigman @Exsnookerpro Thank you, I didn’t see it! The issue with carrying points forward in a re rack is what if all six colours are tight on the cushion or grouped together and not potable? Resetting the ball’s is such a change in that circumstance, so why carry points over?

@djpegg @Exsnookerpro If he did, it is a deliberate foul, but there is no rule to cover that, is the point I’m making.

@welshref @Exsnookerpro Ray Reardon used to go in off deliberately! That’s a deliberate foul in my book.

@kojakspinkshirt @Exsnookerpro I agree, but people quoting ‘deliberate foul’ rules that don’t exist don’t help. As for when to talk to the players, that’s up to the referee at the table, nobody else.

@welshref @Exsnookerpro Paul, with the deepest respect, that sort of stuff will kill the game as it did wirth billiards. It had to be called - when should he have warned them?

@KevRichards47 @Exsnookerpro I agree. Those ‘tactical fouls’ though are better sorted out just between the two players, after the session, in the car park!

@welshref @Exsnookerpro Well it cant happen as often now with the miss rule, but im sure a tactical in-off happens more often than people realise.
