(this picture is from pre-covid times) I’m never one to really speak out about things, but the coverage of XC this year has been seriously upsetting. Carolyn Ford broke 18 this weekend and I have seen nothing about it. That’s HUGE. She deserves some recognition.

Prayers go out to the North Callaway Thunderbird family. Tonight's North Callaway home football game has been canceled following the tragic death of a freshman football player. North Callaway was scheduled to play Clopton/Elsberry in Kingdom City.

PLEASE help with prayers as our very talented XC runner, Kaylee Pannek battles sever injuries substained as she was hit by a car this am while on bike. She is in ICU, sedated,stable condition, multiple fractures, including shattered pelvis.Thoughts&🙏 @BHSRaiders @BHS_Raiders1

As I was leaving practice yesterday, I overheard one of our kids say to their teammates, “This sport saved my life!” This kid is not a varsity runner and is not seeking a running scholarship. It’s more than the sport. I wish more people would understand that.
