i sum up my experience with life coaching vs. talk therapy like this: talk therapy made me 10-15% healthier (IFS, on the other hand, has been incredible). coaching completely transformed how i live.

my last plant medicine ceremony facilitator told us that truly remembering who we are is about re-membering into loving community. finding meaning isn’t actually all that complicated. reach out for love and connection the way toddlers do, and meaning will find you.

every time i water my plants, they perk up and push out yellow leaves. a reminder from nature that growth always requires letting old parts of ourselves fall away

my greatest power lies in my heart and my spirit. everything else is a distraction.

PSA put this album in your ears particularly good for traveling. got a lot out of driving around with it on, windows down, on a misty day currently revisiting while on the train to nyc and it’s perfect, i only intended to dip in and now i’m committed

it’s always made me really sad when people i really love and admire can’t see how amazing they are — and now, i’m seeing it in myself. i’m grieving all the times i suffered instead of feeling loved, and calling in the infinite joy ahead of me 🤲🏼

i’m realizing how often i make myself busy and active to feel like i’m in control of my life. but i was never in control. control is an illusion. it’s not about tightly gripping plans and outcomes, it’s about surrender and flow. that’s where my highest power will arise.

oh update i’ve been obsessed with playing baldursgate 3 as of the last two weeks. I grew up playing a lot of FPSs & JRPGs but nothing has really hooked me over last decade/usually i like hack n slash style so im soo surprised at how bg3 is pulling me in

im a little sick so i took the day off and slept 12 hours, ate soup, cleaned a bunch, played some games, danced for 2-3 hours, took a bath, ate chicken nuggies, and now im eating ube ice cream at 1am what a good day and i get to sleep in tomorrow too omg i am so lucky
