“In a country where a majority of people do not have bachelor’s degrees, policies that automatically close off jobs to so many people contribute to the perception that the system is rigged against them,” the Times editorial board writes. nyti.ms/3Dn2Vw7

Also 5 of their 8 internships are only open to currently enrolled undergraduate students. How are people supposed to get this "equivalent work experience" if you don't even let entry-level people in unless they're in college?

The @nytimes editorial board chastised companies for degree requirements instead of experience-based hiring today. The NYT has 99 job openings. 2 require a MS, 12 require BS/BA, 6 explicitly prefer a BS/BA, 6 count it as experience. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…

First paper from our lab is out! BayesTME, an end-to-end spatial transcriptomics method that outperforms every other method on benchmarks, doesn't need scRNA, and discovers within-phenotype spatially varying genes + spatial programs. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

But it goes beyond that. It's just pure math. There are 4 calories per gram of carbs, 4 per protein, 9 per fat. If you do the math on that, your calories per serving don't match the carb/protein/fat amounts.

@LotusScoop Pretty sure your nutritional info on your pints is wrong. There is no way that each serving has 28g of dietary fiber. Also 4 cals per carb * 65g carbs = 260 cals, which is already more than your 250 cals / serving at the top.

@LotusScoop I was looking at both sweet potato banana caramel and mint fudge Oreo. Both have the same nutrition labels. A sweet potato has 27g of carbs with only 4g of fiber. There is just no way to get 28g of fiber from the ingredients, especially a 1:3 fiber:carb ratio.

@TurkeyHillDairy There definitely was a lot more mint and lot less chocolate in the most recent one I purchased. I hope it was just a fluke!

@wesleytansey I'm sorry to hear you've had a negative experience with this flavor. We haven't made any changes to the recipe. Could you give us more details on your recent experience?

@TurkeyHillDairy I cannot believe you changed mint choco chip. You've ruined the best ice cream on the planet. :(
