West Hallam Village Pre-School

Pre-school is now closed for the half term holidays. We hope you enjoy your week. We reopen on Monday 1st June.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our sponsored sports event. It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, and you all worked incredibly hard in every activity. A special well done to the adults who bravely took part in the final race.

Good morning the grass is wet but we are ready for an hour of fun. Please dress appropriately for the weather, fingers crossed the rain will hold off. The event will start promptly please come to the preschool door at the start of the day thank you.

Just a reminder that our sponsored sports event is this Monday 18th May. It will start promptly, as we are limited to time before the school children come out to play. If you have not yet confirmed your child’s attendance please let us know asap thank you.

Sorry please be aware there was a mistake with the invite to the teddy bears picnic to confirm the date is Thursday 11th June 4pm until 6pm thank you.

This morning we enjoyed a visit from two guinea pigs called George and Ollie. We enjoyed watching them play and had a chance to stroke and hold the guinea pigs . Thank you to Rebecca and Lilah for bringing them in. 🐹

This morning we were very excited to meet Jonny the horse. We were very careful not to put our hands by his mouth or go behind him, so we could keep safe. Thank you to Claire for bringing him in. 🐴

This afternoon we had Loki visit us, the children enjoyed meeting him and getting to stroke him. Thank you to Courtney, Benjamin and Lyra for bringing him in to see us.

This morning we enjoyed a visit from Banner, we enjoyed stroking him and watching him get treats for doing tricks. Thank you Leanne for bringing him in.

This morning we enjoyed a visit from three rabbits called Ginger, Brunel and Harriet. We enjoyed watching them play and had a chance to stroke and hold the rabbits. Thank you to Harry and Lindsey for bringing them in. 🐇🐰

Thank you so much to Dr Kev Chavda for donating 48 toothbrushes for every child in Pre-School as part of The Ilkeston 100 initiative.

Thank you to Claire for bringing in Lammy the Lamb for a visit this morning. 🐑
