These meetings included discussions with Representative Mark Takano and Brian Nesvik, the Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, to advocate for the MSHCP and similar habitat conversation plans nationwide.

RCA joined the National HCP Coalition in Washington, D.C., this week, where they met with Members of Congress and representatives from the administration.

Black environmentalists have paved the path for conservation efforts by preserving biodiversity in our cities and open space. #BlackHistoryMonth

This Black History Month, we celebrate environmentalists of the past, present, and future, who continue to advocate for land #conservation. In 1903, Colonel Charles Young became the first Black national park superintendent, who oversaw what is now Sequoia National Park.
