Hello, TKO. Serious question: whatever happened to vacating championships because of injuries? Rhea Ripley has been out injured for over a month and hasn't defended the WWE Women's Championship. In the past, injured champions have been forced to vacate their titles, yet this time the rule seems to have disappeared. Are the rules the same for everyone, or are they only enforced when it's convenient? WWE should be consistent. Fans deserve fair and equal treatment for every champion.

@JustAlyxCentral problem with the current roster that our champions right now is the booking is terrible and they’re not booking their champions the way they should be in great feuding storylines to defend the titles

WWE Women's Champion Rhea Ripley revealed during an interview at UFC Power Slap that she suffered a slight meniscus tear and is having trouble bending her knee. That helps explain why WWE has kept her off television since the end of May. It seems like the goal is to keep her out of the ring and limit physical activity in hopes the meniscus heals without surgery. That said, if her knee hasn't shown enough improvement by the time SummerSlam rolls around, I think she should vacate the championship and either undergo surgery or take whatever time she needs to fully recover. I'm not a fan of keeping the WWE Women's Championship off television for more than a month, let alone two. This isn't a knock on Rhea. If she's hurt, she needs to heal. She's earned the time off. Hell, if it were up to me, I'd give her the rest of the year off and have her return at the Royal Rumble. Let some of the other women have an opportunity to carry the spotlight for a while.

@JustAlyxCentral So we are glossing over the house show defenses then in the UK last week, yes she may not of defended on TV, but she still has defended the title in the past 30 days unlike rhea who looks like she is injured

The irony of Liv Morgan calling herself the greatest Women's World Champion of all time during a reign with zero title defenses. If things continue on this trajectory, Liv will head into SummerSlam without defending the championship once, lose it to Iyo Sky, and end up with one of the worst Women's World Championship reigns in recent memory. I say that as a Liv Morgan fan. I'm just recapping how the story is being told. And if that's the story WWE wants to tell with Liv Morgan, it's certainly... a choice. I mean, she is cursed, so I guess it is whatever.
