Westlake gets the win over Blind Brook 8-0. Westlake’s pitchers threw a combined no hitter. Mulvey 5 innings 13ks while going 2-3 with 2 RBI’s. Denunzio went deep in the first inning. Petrillo 1-2 1 RBI.

Westlake beats Blind Brook 12-2. Marc Denunzio pitches complete game 13 k’s (5 innings). Nick Mulvey went 3/3 with 4 RBI’s. Tommy Shutt goes 2/3 Justin Sliva 2/2.

Westlake Baseball beats Bronxville 18-3. Arch threw 4 innings giving up 1 run. Darmiento came in to close. Lubrino went 2-2 with 4 RBI’s Giacone 2-2 with 3 RBI’s.

With a loss to Marlboro, Westlake’s season comes to an end. Although it concluded with a loss, the 2019 Wildcats will always have a Section Championship to look back on and most importantly memories that will last a lifetime. What a season and a big thank you to the fans!!

The next stop for the Wildcats is the Regional Semifinal back at Pace University. It will be played at 6:00 against Marlboro of Section 9. Come out and support as Westlake attempts to make a run at States!

Even though it had double-elimination to fall back on, @westlakevb played like there was no tomorrow. The Wildcats were literally starving for a title and beat Briarcliff in 12 innings for their first Section 1 crown in 19 years: bit.ly/2WdXUxA
