Good morning Wrappers! Important announcement: Tax has been normalized, albeit about 12 hours late. Here's where the recovery begins for $WETF. Thanks for sticking with us 🫡 Also everyone has already been refunded from the re-base frontrunning sniper attack on the first deployed Wrapped ETF. After calls with team it seems we can launch on Uniswap but it needs to be whitelisted. Whitelisted Wrapped ETF could work as an ERC-20 so these kind of attempts do not get in the way of our otherwise fully working system. We keep developing, further updates down the line, of course the Roadmap is now due for renewal.

@wetfio Bots do not operate in that manner someone would need to know the contract beforehand and have significant bribes to do so.. the only logical explanation is this.. do not appreciate your egotistical standpoint and unwillingness to look at what actually happened.. typical dev

The First Wrapped ETF launch has been unsuccessful since snipers ruined the entire liquidity pool before elastic rebasing could happen. We launched it at the median price of the tokens, and due to posting the CA early so no one would get scammed some malicious CA snipers took action and fucked it. Trading is halted, obviously. Team lost the liquidity there. The only way they could've front ran the rebase was because the rebasing TX did not go through as fast as the snipers. Everyone who was not a malicious sniper has been already refunded for the non-team caused draining attack on the first Wrapped ETF. etherscan.io/address/0x17f0… $WETF Team always has a high standard towards transparency and being fair, so of course we would do this.

@Pablo01618 Zero block is when the first rebasing should initiate. Snipers foreran that TX executing.

@Pablo01618 This would not be a fair launch, why would someone buy the token at all then? If the rebasing works as intended, then there'd be no problem, but snipers frontran it. Nothing team can do. Many dreams crushed for today, but we'll re-attempt.

The Meme ETF tokens? It had almost no holders, some snipers with aggressive gas somehow overran the first rebasing function even though it was advised this is not going to give any benefit at all. Then they sold draining the liquidity. The CA works well in testing environments but unfortunately seems like on Uniswap this just isn't possible if there are snipers.

@wetfio What about the tokens that people already have? They lost or on next launch you will send it to them?

The Wrapped ETF Rebase Terminal As previously explained in our previous posts, the Wrapped ETF Terminal allows you to look inside the otherwise closed software to make sure everything is going to the algorithm. If you forgot what the rebasing and wrapping was all about, watch this: youtube.com/watch?v=4Y3xUn… That means that for the first time in history of algorithmic tokens, you don't need to trust the team to be able to keep it up - you can see the funding for calling the rebase function, rebasing itself and what target price it is adjusted to yourself. On average a rebase happens every 5 blocks since the last one. The smart contract handles rebasing itself to save gas, but we have an external rebase function for quick price jumps. That means we are willing to spend out of our budget to make sure the rebasing remains an accurate way to reflect the value that is otherwise determined by the liquidity pool. The terminal will be on the $WETF website, and we will do the first rebase of the test token (one revealed previously) tonight, and you can then check it against the math - we will do a separate post about it. This is the first team issued Wrapped ETF, but it is by no means special in any other way.
