What should 2035 daily life be like? Continuously improving health, opportunity, and prosperity: People living on Mars, to expand life outside our solar system. ☀️ Automated transportation, decreasing accidents, full self driving + intelligence for proactive maintenance (auto, plane, train). 🤖 Energy and computation costs cut 10x, enabling all people with internet 🛜 access to solve problems quickly at scale.💡 * Nuclear ☢️ solar and battery 🔋 breakthroughs. Brain 🧠 internet 🛜 direct connection testing to accelerate problem solving. Biosynthetic and organ development breakthroughs extending average lifespan from 70 to over 100 years. Decreased suffering from pain due to medical breakthroughs. Simulations so good and AI companions so engaging, less time and travel is required for rest and relaxation.

Pantheon is a good show but doesn’t demonstrate a future any of us would like to live in (or the one AI companies are building towards) I really would like to see a clear vision (or science fiction) from AI leaders about how they want 2035 to look & what daily life would be like

With 1M robotaxis servicing US cities, studies estimate each could replace 5–15 private cars via 24/7 utilization (vs. cars parked 95% of time). That displaces 5–15M vehicles, potentially freeing 35–100M parking spots nationwide (based on ~7 spots per car). In urban cores, this could cut parking demand 50–80% by optimizing drop-offs, hubs, and remote storage—freeing land equivalent to multiple city blocks for housing or parks. Scale depends on adoption and ops. (RethinkX, ITF-OECD, Brookings analyses)

🇺🇸 Mind-blowing parking fact: The United States has ~2 BILLION parking spots. That’s roughly 7 parking spaces for every single car on the road. Enough to cover an area the size of West Virginia. Source: Urban planning studies

@emollick Ethan, Wouldn’t you guess USG AI regulations would slow US innovation, resulting in CCP winning? 🤔

If you believe that AI is going to have a big impact on work and life, the only real tool for mitigating bad impacts and channeling usage for good will be government policy And that policy will be complicated: AI will impact employment & healthcare & education & etc. differently

Here's my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.3.2, as well as showing off improved Actually Smart Summon. I really like how Mad Max behaved tonight. I tried on the highway twice, and it never hugged the far left lane once. It also never went above 80mph. The way it behaved was perfect (for what I like). Your milage may vary. Actually Smart Summon starts up and pulls forward/backs out of parking spots much quicker. It's also more confident around people and uses its blinkers correctly. You can feel the groundwork being laid out for Banish in the future.

Nearly perfect (if unnerving). This is first shot, and the only real issue is the double hour hand.

GPT-ImageGen-2 did this in one shot, with just the prompt "turn all of Tennyson's Ulysses into a comic, across as many pages as needed. make it great, include the full text" 10 pages, though it did use what seems to be the ImageGen-2 's preferred "spackled drawing" style 1/

The new Nano Banana Pro makes all of Tennyson’s Ulysses into a comic on the first try when given the poem broken into four pieces. Eight months have passed since the quoted example.

really incredible what you're now able to create with a little bit of compute. excited for new applications in areas like education, professional settings (slides, marketing materials, etc), and productivity (such as creating diagrams for code documentation).

Beyond generating high-fidelity visuals, we wanted to test the limits of what Nano Banana Pro can do. We worked with design partners Porto Rocha to build out a hypothetical brand called YOYOYO to see how the model would handle the task. Here’s what we found: 🎨Brand consistency: Across logos, colors, and typography, the model maintained a strict, cohesive brand identity (even for wildly diverse concepts) 🛍️Environmental realism: We asked to see the products in storefront and studio mockups. It nailed accurate lighting, shadows, and physical proportions - even when upscaled for massive retail displays 🪀Spatial accuracy: We tested spatial volumes for physical packaging. The generated proportions were so precise that we were able to 3D-print the functional yo-yo How have you been pushing the limits of Nano Banana Pro? Let us know in the replies below!
