Every petroleum scandal in this country starts the same way. A company wins a licence. You try to find out who owns it. The trail goes cold. Petrovena. Sungara. Nasan. Different names, same shape. The UK has had a public register of who owns what since 2016. That’s why I can tell you what London knows about Sungara. Nobody can tell you what Windhoek knows about Petrovena, because Windhoek doesn’t have the register. So on 28 April I am moving a motion in Parliament. A public, searchable Beneficial Ownership Registry. Every extractive licence, every PSA, every big government contract, every SOE. Run by an independent body that reports to Parliament. I’m not saying this will fix everything. I’m saying it will make the next ten Sungaras impossible to hide. The oil is coming. The question is whether the rules arrive before it does. Please share. Sunlight is the start of accountability. Rodney Cloete, MP · IPC

Put differently, a Default Judgment is a binding court order in favor of a plaintiff (Bank) when the defendant (car/home owner) fails to respond to a lawsuit, e.g. not filing an answer or appearing in court, within the designated time. The court assumes the allegations in the complaint are true (oku mwena oku zimina) and treats your silence as a forfeiture victory for the Bank - often awarding them damages requested in their initial complaint. They intentionally keep you distracted with false negotiations "to resolve the matter amicably" while the time to respond to the court lapses. Once the time lapses, mission is accomplished. The bank consultant goes awol and they can now get their Default Judgment. Crooks!!

Quinta Brunson comments on what her past self would think of her now: “I think 2014 me would be like, ‘exactly, period’. Because I was a very determined, knew where I was going. Girl, I do not like to do that thing where people pretend like I had no idea. Like, this could happen to me? no. I made every single move in my life so that this could happen to me. Didn't exactly know this, but I think that's the beauty of vision. You can feel, see something, you're working in accordance with something, and I'm a big believer in that”. 🔗 instagram.com/reel/DSz7ZprjS…

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026 SAINTS! This is for those still standing despite all they’ve been through in 2025. Those that God has kept. And ready for 2026. It gives language to your thanksgiving to God. Do you want this video for the new year? Didn’t plan to release it yet though …😌

Pewbeam now works completely offline. This took serious engineering work, deep product thinking, and many sleepless nights. With this, we can serve churches of all sizes and capacities, regardless of their tech setup, technical know-how, or internet coverage. This is a huge step toward what was only a dream for me about three months ago.

I want to build a bible presentation AI agent for church use. Imagine Bible verses coming up on screen as the Pastor preaches just based on what he’s talking about or his paraphrases and quotes. I want to build this completely in public, starting today. Thoughts?

Narnia is Christian. People think Aslan is just a symbol for Jesus. C.S. Lewis said, "No, he IS Jesus." C.S. Lewis clarified that Aslan is not an allegory (like a symbol in a poem). He is a "supposal." Lewis asked: "Suppose there were a land like Narnia... what would Christ become if He entered that world?" The answer is a Lion. Aslan is literally Christ in another form. In Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Aslan tells the children: "I am in your world too. But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you was brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there." Narnia was written to train children to recognize the voice of God.

Blending old and new, while respecting the traditional way of building. Some of these poles/sticks are about 80 years old! “You can’t throw away 80 years of memories” A lovely but challenging project indeed!

🌍✨ At the 85th Ordinary Session of the #ACHPR in Banjul, The Gambia, AAN’s Advocacy Manager, Kwame A Daklo delivered a powerful statement on behalf of Under the Same Sun and over 200 albinism groups across Africa. Persons with albinism continue to endure grave human rights violations, from ritual killings and discrimination to lack of healthcare and sun protection. 🔑 Reparations must go beyond financial compensation. They must deliver justice, healing, and guarantees of non-repetition for our community. ✅ Key Calls to Action: Ratify of the Africa Disability Protocol Adopt the AU Plan of Action on Albinism Include sunscreen, eye care, and skin cancer treatment in national health insurance schemes Strengthen judicial systems for accountability Center the voices of women and children with albinism Ensure inclusive and equitable education for children with albinism Integrate persons with albinism in climate adaptation plans ✊ Let’s stand together for justice, dignity, and equality! A Milestone for Climate Justice & Health Equity On 5 September 2025, the @WHO officially added broad-spectrum sunscreen to its Model Lists of Essential Medicines and Essential Medicines for Children. This historic decision recognises sunscreen as a health and human rights necessity for people with albinism and is the result of powerful, collective advocacy by the Africa Albinism Network, CBM Global Disability Inclusion, and partners worldwide. When prayer begins to feel too hard and sophisticated, Get 2 chairs; Sit on one, leave the other empty. It's you and God. Talk. Say anything. Cry. Let the tears flow. Vent. Pour out your heart. Sing. Worship as you know how. That too is prayer. And, God will answer.
