@juvenewslive The fanbase is full of idiots, it needs a steward, a steady hand to guide the ship through turbulence. Ale is that figure.
I’ll get your Rav, for this public dissension!
English

and thank God he did because fickle fuckers would be calling for his head every time things went wrong. He gave Juventus plenty when we needed it most - he can do as he likes now, including being a restaurateur. better that then having random people on twitter telling him to shut the fuck up. Maybe you should shut the fuck up instead.

🎙️ | Del Piero: “Italy is now the laughing stock of international football. Missing three World Cups in a row is genuinely unforgivable. How can a nation like this miss out on a whole generation of World Cups? Four-time winners haven’t scored a World Cup goal in 20 years. We used to have world-class players, but today the players are very average.”

English

@juvenewslive Meh, he moonlights as a commentator and runs restaurants in California.
He had many an opportunity to help Juve over these last few years, the people were clamoring for it. Instead he decided to talk shop with Micah Richard’s and Jamie Carragher.
English

@wgdaquila He's a commentator and a World Cup winner and an Italian football legend.....and one of the few who knows what he's talking about and is universally respected by everyone - he can say what he likes, when he likes. He's earned that right, many times over.
English

@Robkearney1981 @colinblute_ They aren’t Italian at all anymore, you’ve got a few stragglers, the last of the Mohicans.
English

No kidding. When Italy won the World Cup back in 2006, there were massive celebrations across the Tri-State area.
Clockwise below:
Little Italy in Manhattan
Morris Park in The Bronx
18th Ave in Brooklyn
Little Italy in Hartford, Connecticut

Not qualifying for a World Cup that is going to be played in New Jersey is the most 9/11 moment for italoamericans since James Gandolfini's death

@wgdaquila 💯 I’d also throw in Agnelli to replace Gravina!
English

@carlogarganese @ItaFootPod Allegri should be put in charge of everything
English

Those who work with the league and have direct relationships with the clubs are part of the problem
So respectfully fuck off tonight when you start theorising about Italy’s failure
We on the @ItaFootPod have been shouting for 6 years that the whole system needed tearing up
English

I’m glad that in 6 years of @ItaFootPod me & @NimaTavRood have been completely against the Calcio system
We’ve refused to work with the Lega, FIGC & clubs as we will not be part of a system that’s destroyed Calcio
Tonight proves again we were right

🧨8,800 will be in attendance for #BosniaItaly as the crowd's reduced for safety concerns
Weather is cloudy with a chance of snow and rain, with winds up to 50 km/h.

@Johnwest87900 @Charlie28962870 @Palestinechrist @WyronGaines There are hundreds of thousands of Palestinians that live in Israel, serve in government, and the Supreme Court.
Your debate is around proportionality inside of Gaza, not genocide. What they are doing is much more likely to be crimes against humanity.
English

@Charlie28962870 @Palestinechrist @WyronGaines What? lol you gotta be retarded. Israel is committing genocide. If you don’t believe that it’s because you support Israel and the genocide.
English

@rinsana @RadioFreeTom Ron, what equities did well at this time? Elder millennial contribute 15% each paycheck. What is my game plan? Heavy commodities, bonds? Do I write off tech, and only focus on those with robust balance sheets? Tom, feel free to chime despite your dubious taste in sports teams.
English

@RadioFreeTom Warning of this since late 2025. The ingredients for a moderate 1970s replay, albeit not quite as dramatic (13% inflation, 11% joblessness, 20% interest rates then) is a possible scenario. 4-6% inflation, 5-7% joblessness and 5-7% short rates. Could get worse, there’s still time.
English

I used to give lectures where I'd explain to undergrads what it was like to grow up in the 70s, and how grateful they should be that they don't know what "Stagflation" means.
Guess everyone's gonna find out again that hot stoves are hot.

Christine Lagarde is on my level. People seem to have no idea how bad this is about to get.
English

@NamelessTh51811 @adamwren @RahmEmanuel How is he genocidal? He’s been feuding with Bibi and Likud since I was in elementary school.
Upgrade your grey matter because one day it may matter.
English

@adamwren @RahmEmanuel Lol my balls have a better chance of winning than that subhuman genocidal freak.
English

New: @RahmEmanuel, headed to NH and SC this week, is prepping a presidential campaign that’s a rolling rebuke of his own party. Can he really win in 2028? He sees a weak field.
“The answer to that is: It’s a jump ball,” he told me. “Even for the frontrunner, it’s a jump ball.”

@adamwren @RahmEmanuel Who, exactly, is his targeted voter? This seems to be even more random than the Mike Gravel candidacy.
